Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Veterinary Surgeon Gr II in Kerala State Animal Husbandry Department. Category No: 290/2018. Vacancies: 05 (Five). Scale of Pay: 20740-36140/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-01-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-44. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed. Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Veterinary & Animal Science from a recognized University Technical Qualifications: • Registration with Kerala State Veterinary Council as envisaged in the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984) • Working Knowledge in Malayalam Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3 (C) of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules) are not applicable to this selection. Every person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
