Educational Qualifications: • Must be literate Experience Required: Must be a Scheduled Tribe candidate residing in forest settlements or on the forest fringes, and must be healthy. Physical Standards: Must be healthy.

Direct Recruitment from Scheduled Tribe candidates who are solely dependent on the forest for their livelihood.
General conditions from the notification
Selected candidates will undergo three months of training at a Forest School/Training Centre. Preference will be given to children of unmarried mothers and those who have served as temporary watchers in the Forest Department. Applications must be submitted to the District Officer of the respective district only.
