Scale of Pay: ₹ 26,500-60,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-11-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36: Only candidates born between 02/01/1987 and 01/01/2005 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Age relaxation will be allowed for officers of Technical Education Department to the extent of their service in the Department; subject to a maximum period of ten years over and above the relaxation in age, if any, allowed under general rules. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Technical High School Leaving Certificate Examination with specialization in the appropriate Trade. • OR • A pass in Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or its equivalent. • A pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Course in the appropriate Trade. (GO(P)No. 503/2012/H.Edn dated 12.10.2012) Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate Trade • Pass in Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering Examination in the appropriate Trade Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II KS &SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order / equivalency certificate from the authority concerned to prove the equivalency at the time of certificate verification. Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an Act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with conditions laid down in G.O (M.S) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable.
