Age limit

Category i (Open Market): 20-31 (Born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2002). Category ii (Ministerial): Not to exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2022. Category iii (Constabulary): Not to exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2022. Age relaxation applicable as per rules. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree Experience Required: For Category ii: 2 years service in Police/Vigilance department. For Category iii: Service as Police Constable/Head Constable or equivalent. Physical Standards: Male: Height 165.10 cm (SC/ST 160.02 cm), Chest 81.28 cm (Expansion 5.08 cm). Female: Height 160 cm (SC/ST 155 cm). Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes (Distant), 0.5 Snellen (Near). Must be free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Higher qualifications and equivalent qualifications recognized by government orders are accepted.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be physically fit. Selection includes physical efficiency test. Probation period of 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years after training. Training period is not counted for probation/increment/service.
