Age limit

Category i (Open Market): 20-31 (born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.1999). Category ii (Ministerial) and Category iii (Constabulary): Should not have completed 36 years of age as on 01.01.2019. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Graduation Technical Qualifications: • Military Training, Membership of NCC, Sports etc will be considered as additional qualification. Experience Required: For Category ii: Graduate Ministerial staff of Police and Vigilance Department, Finger print Experts, Fingerprint Searchers of the Fingerprint Bureau who had completed two years of service in Police/Vigilance Department. For Category iii: Graduate Police Constables, Head Constables and officers of corresponding rank in Police and Vigilance Department. Physical Standards: Male: Height 165.10 cm (SC/ST 160.02 cm), Chest 81.28 cm (Expansion 5.08 cm). Female: Height 160 cm (SC/ST 155 cm). Visual standards: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes without glasses. Must be free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat feet, etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce relevant government orders.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 will be initiated for bogus claims. Training period of one year in Police Training College followed by 10.5 months practical training. Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
