Age limit

Category – i (Open Market) – 20-31 (born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.1995). Category – ii (Ministerial) – Should not have completed 36 years as on 01.01.2015. Category – iii (Constabulary) – Should not have completed 36 years as on 01.01.2015. Relaxation in upper age limit as per para 2 of the General conditions is applicable. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Graduation • In the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, if sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre University/Pre-Degree or equivalent Examinations of recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (i) Experience Required: Category (ii): Two years of service in Police/Vigilance Department for Graduate Ministerial staff, Finger print Experts, Fingerprint Searchers. Category (iii): Completed probation for Graduate Police Constables, Head Constables and officers of corresponding rank. Physical Standards: Should be Physically fit. Male height: 165.10 cm (SC/ST: 160.02 cm), Chest (Normal): 81.28 cm, Chest Expansion: 5.08 cm. Female height: 160 cm (SC/ST: 155 cm). Visual Standards without glasses: Distant Vision (Left/Right) 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision (Left/Right) 0.5 Snellen. Must qualify in Physical Efficiency Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
