Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Staff Nurse Gr.II in Health Services. Category No: 418/2019. Vacancies: District wise (Anticipated Vacancies). Scale of Pay: Rs. 27800-59400. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-36, Only candidates born between 2.1.1983 and 1.1.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes and other backward communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Plus Two/Pre-Degree (with Science Subjects) Course / Pass in VHSE (with Science subjects) / VHSE in Domestic Nursing of a recognized University or its equivalent. • A Pass in B.Sc Nursing of a recognized University or a pass in General Nursing and Midwifery Course having not less than 3 years duration from any institution recognized by Government. Technical Qualifications: • Certificate of Registration with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Midwife, in the case of woman candidates and as Nurse in the case of male candidates. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable for selection to the Post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.
General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government Service holding this post in this Department in any one district are prohibited from applying. 3% of fresh vacancies reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment). Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile if a test is conducted.
