Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Staff Nurse Gr-II in Health Services. Category No: 514/2017 and 515/2017. Vacancies: District wise (Thrissur - Hindu Nadar: 2, Muslim: 4). Scale of Pay: Rs. 27,800 – 59,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Candidates belonging to Hindu Nadar, Muslim communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-01-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1997 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Hindu Nadar, Muslim communities. [Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Plus Two/Pre-Degree (With Science Subjects) Course or pass in VHSE (with Science Subjects) or VHSE in Domestic Nursing of a recognized University or its equivalent. • A pass in BSc Nursing of a recognized University or a pass in General Nursing and Midwifery Course having not less than 3 years duration from any institution recognized by Government. Technical Qualifications: • Certificate of Registration with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Midwife, in the case of women candidates and as Nurse in the case of male candidates. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post.

Candidates shall apply online only on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971.
