Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Staff Nurse Gr-II in Insurance Medical Services. Category No: 132/2018. Scale of Pay: 26,500 – 56,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 24-10-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-44. Only candidates born between 2.1.1974 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates applies, subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in S.S.L.C or its equivalent. • Successful training for a period of not less than three years in General Sick Nursing. Technical Qualifications: • In the case of women candidates: successful training for not less than nine months in Midwifery from an institution recognised by the State Government. • In the case of male candidates: successful completion of short term course in one or the other of the Nursing subjects of Venerology, Urology, Psychiatry or Ophthalmology conducted in a major Hospital. • Certificate of Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwifery Council as Nurse in the case of male candidates and Nurses and Midwives in the case of female candidates. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of KS & SSR Part II is applicable for selection to this post.

Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates cannot apply to more than one district. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in this Department in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply.
