Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Rehabilitation Technician Gr. II in Health Services. Category No: 171/2020 - 172/2020. Vacancies: SC - 1 (One) (Category No. 171/2020), LC/AI - 1 (One) (Category No. 172/2020). Scale of Pay: ₹ 23400-48000. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to SC, LC/AI community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-12-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

(i) Scheduled Caste: 18-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (ii) LC/AI: 18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Includes relaxation in Para 2(i) of General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in plus two or equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. • OR • Diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics recognized by the Rehabilitation council of India. • OR • Certificate in Prosthetics and Orthotics recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. • Should have registration in the Rehabilitation Council of India. Experience Required: For Diploma holders: One year experience in Prosthetics/Orthotics from Central or State Government Service or Public Sector undertaking or Registered Private Sector undertaking. For Certificate holders: Two years experience in Prosthetics/Orthotics from Central or State Government Service or Public Sector undertaking or Registered Private Sector undertaking. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
