Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable in Police (India Reserve Battalion Regular Wing). Category No: 41/2019. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity (SCCC) - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: 10,480 – 18,300/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity (SCCC) only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-05-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 29. Only candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible. Ex-servicemen have age relaxation up to 41 years. In the case of adult members of SC and their children converted to Christian religion the upper age limit shall be 31 years (born between 02.01.1988 & 01.01.2001). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Height: 167 cms, Chest: 81-86 cms (minimum 5 cm expansion). Visual Standards: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near vision 0.5 Snellen (both eyes). Must be free from physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Feet, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) Part II of KS & SSR applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce relevant government order at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Failure to submit confirmation will lead to rejection. Candidates must execute a bond to serve for 5 years after training or remit Rs. 50,000/-. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
