Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) - UPS in Education. Category No: 474/2017 AND 475/2017. Vacancies: District wise (Scheduled Caste – Ernakulam – 01, OBC – Kollam – 01). Scale of Pay: 18,000-41,500/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and OBC communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 06-12-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

1) 18–43 (OBC community, born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.1999). 2) 18–45 (Scheduled Caste community, born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1999). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A pass in Pre-Degree Examination in the Part III Arabic (special optional) from the Calicut University. • A pass in SSLC examination Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examination, Kerala. • A pass in Arabic Preliminary Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities. • A pass in SSLC Examination of Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A Pass in Plus Two, Part III, Arabic (optional course) conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) will be applicable for this post. Exemption from TET for candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects.
