Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) - LPS in Education. Category No: 477/2017 to 481/2017. Vacancies: District wise: Scheduled Caste (Kollam, Alappuzha, Malappuram, Kannur - 1 each), Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava (Kollam - 1), Viswakarma (Alappuzha - 1), SIUC Nadar (Thiruvananthapuram - 1), LC/AI (Alappuzha - 1). Scale of Pay: 18,000-41,500/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the above mentioned reservation group of communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 06-12-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
• A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
• A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University.
• A pass in plus two, Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary examinations, Kerala.
• A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first language.
• A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following: Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), Arabic Teachers Examination, or Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities.
Technical Qualifications:
• Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET.

Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Candidates should possess the minimum general educational qualification (SSLC or equivalent).
