Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) (LPS) in General Education. Category No: 461/2020 – 469/2020. Vacancies: District-wise vacancies for various communities (Ezhava, OBC, Hindu Nadar, LC/AI, Viswakarma, SC, Dheevara, SCCC, ST). Scale of Pay: ₹ 18,000-41,500/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava, OBC, Hindu Nadar, LC/AI, Viswakarma, SC, Dheevara, SCCC, ST communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. For SC/ST candidates converted to Christianity, the upper age limit is 45 (born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. • Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Higher Secondary Board of Kerala. • SSLC Examination with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3) Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) Arabic Entrance Examination of Kerala or Calicut University. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree is also an accepted qualification.
