Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) - LPS in Education. Category No: 378-379/2018. Vacancies: District wise. Scale of Pay: 18,000-41,500/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to the reservation group of communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-01-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of SC/ST candidates (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in Arabic Teacher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification. CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again.
