Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) - LPS in Education. Category No: 209/2018. Vacancies: District wise: Thrissur - OBC - 1 (One). Scale of Pay: 18,000-41,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to OBC Reservation group of community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 24-10-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A Pass in Plus Two with Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first language. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent, and any one of the following: (i) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), (ii) A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), (iii) A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, (iv) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable. Candidates should possess the minimum general educational qualification (SSLC or equivalent) as per G.O(Ms) No. 232/2009/G.Edn dated 30.11.2009. CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates advised in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district until 5 years of continuous service. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Part II KS&SSR rules apply.
