Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Teacher (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 319/2020. Vacancies: District wise: Kollam - 01 (One) (3rd NCA Notification). Scale of Pay: Rs. 19,000-43,600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-12-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02-01-1977 and 01-01-2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including all relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates advised from the Ranked List are not eligible for transfer to another district for five years. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any district are prohibited from applying. If a written/OMR/Online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their profile.
