Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Assistant (Urdu) in Education. Category No: 472/2017. Vacancies: District wise: Scheduled Caste – Malappuram - 2 (Two). Scale of Pay: 19000-43600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Community only). In the absence of Scheduled Caste, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe will be considered.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 06-12-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Upper age relaxation applies as per General Conditions, but in no case shall exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Urdu and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR will be applicable for this post. B.Ed should be in the concerned language. Candidates possessing Post-Graduate Degree in Urdu are also eligible to apply provided they have the required training qualification.

General conditions from the notification
Applications must be submitted online. Conventional applications are rejected. Candidates must have a valid One Time Registration profile. Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Special concessions for wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, and Government Primary/Nursery School teachers apply.
