Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Assistant (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 466/2017. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian community only). Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part (III) and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable for the post.
