Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Overseer Grade III/(Civil) (Special Recruitment from among ST Only) in Irrigation & Administration. Category No: 113/2020. Vacancies: ST- 02. Scale of Pay: 19000-43600. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-10-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC examination or its equivalent qualification • Must possess any one of the technical/other qualifications mentioned below Technical Qualifications: • Lower Grade Drawing Group Certificate KGTE or its equivalent • Second Grade Certificates secured by Draftsman (civil) Trainees under T.T Scheme, College of Engineering or under Industrial Training Centre conducted by the Ministry of Labour Govt. of India, after a course of 18 months • Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher or Lower) KGTE or equivalent and any two of the other Civil Engineering Subjects under KGTE or equivalent • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) of the women polytechnic of the State • Diploma in Agriculture and Rural Engineering given by the Rural Institute, Thavanur • Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Draftsmanship and Quantity Surveying • Vocational Higher Secondary Course Certificate in Building Technology Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidate who claims equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Govt. Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Every person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except conditions in Rule 3 (C) of Part II of KS&SSR) are not applicable. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if applicable.
