Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • M.Sc (Nursing) or B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic) from a recognized University. Technical Qualifications: • Certificate of Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse & Midwife in the case of women candidates or as Nurse in the case of male candidates. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of Verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must see the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Every person appointed as Nursing Tutor shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years and shall pass the Account test for Executive Officers (Kerala) or Account Test (Lower) during the period of probation.
