Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher (Junior) - Mathematics in Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 073/2022. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 02 (Two) (NCA). Scale of Pay: ₹ 45600-95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-05-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Mathematics with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • In the absence of Persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned Faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of the above, B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of B.Ed. degree holders, Post Graduate Degree with not less than 45% marks and SET (State Eligibility Test) passed candidates will be considered. Ph.D/M.Phil degree holders or Junior Research Fellowship/NET qualified candidates will be given preference. Teachers appointed under this provision should acquire B.Ed degree at their own expense within 5 years from the date of joining. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by any agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency must be proven with government orders at the time of verification.
