Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher Commerce - (Senior) in Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 607/2022. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe - 5 (Five), Scheduled Tribe only - 2 (Two). Scale of Pay: 55200 – 115300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among SC/ST & ST only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

23-45. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. However, under no circumstances the age shall exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in Commerce with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • Degree in B.Ed. in the concerned subject acquired through regular study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned Faculty from any of the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by an Agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a specified qualification and such those statutory rules prescribed by the Commission as basic qualification shall be accepted. Government Orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

The rules and regulations regarding the reservations, exemptions and general conditions stipulated in Part II and Part III of KS&SSR are applicable. Regularization of probation is for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
