Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Documentation from a recognized University (Post Graduation in Medical Documentation will have preference) • Diploma in Medical Records Science awarded by Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram • In the absence of the above, Pre-Degree/Higher Secondary/Plus Two or equivalent qualification with training in Medical Records keeping for one year from a recognized Medical College Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified (Note: Differently abled candidates with Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment are identified as suitable; Blindness/Low Vision are not eligible) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the relevant government order at the time of verification.
