Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Lift Mechanic in Medical Education. Category No: 226/2018. Vacancies: Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: Rs.5510-8590/-(PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from among Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava Community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 19-12-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (Including the relaxations in para 2(i) of General Conditions) Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualifications. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the trade of Electrician • Wire man Competency Certificate/Permits issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board. Experience Required: Experience in the erection and maintenance of Lifts for a minimum period of 1 year. The experience should be the one acquired after the acquisition of the 1st two qualifications. If persons with experience in erection and maintenance of Lifts are not available, persons possessing the other three qualifications will be selected and given training for a period of 6 months in Lift maintenance in the Public Works Department. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.
