Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Lecturer in Statistics & Demography in Medical Education. Category No: 280/2019. Vacancies: 2 (Two). Scale of Pay: As per UGC Norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-01-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-41; Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A second class Masters degree in Statistics • OR A second class Masters degree in Demography • OR A second class Masters degree in Mathematics with special paper in Statistics and Diploma/Certificate in Demography from IIPS Bombay, ISI Calcutta or any other recognized institute in India or outside Experience Required: Teaching Experience in Statistics or Demography in a recognized Graduate or Post Graduate Institute. (Desirable) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of qualification mentioned in the Notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualifications shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification.
