Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. • National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate. • Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government Recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification. Experience Required: 3 years experience for NTC or 1 year experience for NAC in the appropriate trade after obtaining the certificate. The experience gained by a Workshop Attender in the trade can also be deemed to be qualifying experience. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

Part II Para 2 of the General Condition except Para 2(i). Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of two years duty within a continuous period of three years.
