Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of ICDS – Supervisor (From General Category) in Women and Child Development. Category No: 238/2018. Vacancies: 30 (Thirty). Scale of Pay: 26500 - 56700. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment From General Category. (This post is reserved exclusively for women. Differently abled candidates are ineligible to apply for this post). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-01-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 - 36. Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2000 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post, with usual relaxation to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Upper age limit relaxed for regular Anganwadi workers of ICDS Projects for the full period of their services. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Sociology/Social Work, Home Science or Psychology of a recognized University • A Degree in any other discipline of a recognized University along with Balasevika Training Certificate (One Year Course) issued by the Indian/State Council for Child Welfare or any other recognized Institutions or Pre-Primary Teachers Training Certificate from Institutions recognized by the Government. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order.

General conditions from the notification
Every person appointed by Direct Recruitment shall be on probation for two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must undergo training as specified by the Government. Refer to Part II of the General Conditions for further details.
