Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Geography in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 736/2021. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies. Scale of Pay: 45600-95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-02-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC. Relaxation in upper age limit up to 43 years as on 01.01.2021 allowed for qualified Ministerial Staff under Higher Secondary Education Department. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed as specified above, B.Ed in any subject acquired after a regular course of study or M.Sc Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institute of Education (NCERT). Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce equivalency certificate/relevant Government Order at the time of certificate verification. M.Ed in the concerned subject is exempted from B.Ed qualification.
General conditions from the notification
Ranked list remains in force for a minimum of one year and up to three years. 3% vacancies reserved for differently abled candidates. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the exam. AADHAAR card should be added as ID proof.
