Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) English in Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 55/2015. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribes – 3 (Three). Scale of Pay: 16,180-29,180/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from Scheduled Tribes). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-04-2015 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of B.Ed in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of the above, B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not specifically required, but preference given to those with Ph.D/M.Phil or JRF/NET for candidates appointed without B.Ed. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II, Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Applications of candidates belonging to other than the specified community will be summarily rejected. Candidates must register via One Time Registration. Documents to prove qualification, age, and community must be produced when called for.
