Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Teacher (Social Science) - Tamil Medium (Recruitment - By Transfer) in General Education Department. Category No: 603/2022. Vacancies: District wise: Palakkad - 1 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 41,300-87,000/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Binder in the General Education Department.. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree with Tamil as I or II Language OR a pass in Degree or Post Graduation in Tamil Language. • The applicant should have taken History or Economics or Geography or Politics or Philosophy or Sociology as main subject for Graduation. • Post Graduates in concerned subject with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject are also eligible. • Various specific BA Degree combinations in Islamic History, Economics, Political Science, etc., with B.Ed are also accepted as per specific Government Orders. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Binder in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent through Executive/Standing Orders and higher qualifications with the prescribed qualification as basic are accepted.

General conditions from the notification
The selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must be an approved probationer/full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Reservation rules (Rule 14-17 of Part II KS&SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a test is conducted.
