Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • The applicant should have taken History or Economics or Geography or Politics or Commerce or Philosophy or Music or Sociology as main subject for Graduation. • Candidates who possess B.Com degree with B.Ed Commerce will be considered for the post. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. • The candidates who have acquired BA.Ed Integrated Course (Social Studies, English) conducted by the Regional Institute Of Education in Mysore are also eligible to apply. • Post Graduates in concerned subject with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject are also eligible to apply. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as clerk/ Typist/ Attender/ Office Attendant/ Binder in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post.
