Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates. In the absence of SC candidates, ST candidates will be considered, and vice-versa).. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic or a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III, from a recognized university in Kerala. • B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala. • Alternatively, a Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (if declared equivalent to Part III of the degree) and a Language Teacher Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Degrees/Diplomas recognized by UGC or established by Acts of Parliament/State Legislature are acceptable.
