Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 450/2019 - 451/2019. Vacancies: District wise: Scheduled Caste (Cat. 450/2019): Thiruvananthapuram-01, Alappuzha-01, Thrissur-01; Scheduled Tribe (Cat. 451/2019): Kozhikode-01, Palakkad-01. Scale of Pay: Rs. 29,200-62,400/-(Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe communities only). In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will be considered and vice versa.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 2.1.1974 and 1.1.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. B.Ed should be in the concerned language (Arabic). M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala.

General conditions from the notification

Candidates must register as per One Time Registration. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a revenue district basis. Candidates must submit a confirmation on writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile if a test is conducted.
