Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) – UPS in Education. Category No: 381-382/2018. Vacancies: District wise: Scheduled Caste (Palakkad-3, Malappuram-5, Kozhikode-1, Kannur-2, Kasaragod-5); Scheduled Tribe (Malappuram-2, Kozhikode-1). Scale of Pay: 11620-20240/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe, reservation communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-01-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2000 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including all relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A pass in S.S.L.C. Examination, Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination Kerala or its equivalent, and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations Kerala. • A pass in Arabic Preliminary Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities. • Pass in Pre-Degree Examination in Part III Arabic (Special Optional) from the Calicut University. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification.

Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must submit confirmation for written/OMR/online tests. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Candidates must add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
