Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) – UPS in Education. Category No: 175/2020 – 184/2020. Vacancies: District wise (NCA vacancies for various communities). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25200-54000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to LC/AI, SIUC Nadar, OBC, Hindu Nadar, Ezhava, Viswakarma, Scheduled Tribe, SCCC, Dheevara reservation communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-12-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of LC/AI, SIUC Nadar, OBC, Hindu Nadar, Ezhava, Viswakarma, SCCC and Dheevara. For members belonging to Scheduled Castes who had converted to Christianity after adult age and their children, upper age limit shall be 45 years (candidates born between 02.01.1975 & 01.01.2002). For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates: 18-45, born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following qualifications: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.

General conditions from the notification

Selection will be made on a revenue district basis. Candidates advised from the Ranked List are not eligible for transfer to another district. Candidates must submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their OMR/Online Examination profile. Disciplinary action will be taken for bogus claims.
