Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. • OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) Course of the Higher Secondary Board, Kerala. • OR SSLC Examination of the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala, with Arabic as First Language (First Part and Second Part). • OR A pass in SSLC Examination or its equivalent and any of the following qualifications: 1. Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2. Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3. Arabic Teachers Examination, 4. Examination passed corresponding to the Pre-Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut University. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Government Orders regarding equivalency must be produced during verification.
