Age limit

18-43. Candidates belonging to Dheevara, SCCC, SIUC Nadar, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities must have been born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). For those who converted from SC to Christian religion, upper age limit is 45 (born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003). For SC candidates, age limit is 18-45 (born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003) including age relaxation in para 2(i) of General Conditions. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. • OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. • OR SSLC Examination with Arabic as First Language (Part I and Part II) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR SSLC or equivalent examination and any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 4) Examination in Arabic Entrance conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders such as B.A Arabic & Islamic History (Double Main) degree recognized on 14.01.2019 are accepted.
