Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Employment Officer (Special Recruitment from ST only) in National Employment Service (Kerala). Category No: 296/2018. Vacancies: 01. Scale of Pay: Rs.36,600-79,200/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribes only).. Age limit

25-46. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Masters Degree in Psychology or Education with not less than 50% marks from a recognized University. • Masters Degree in any subject from a recognized University. Technical Qualifications: • Specialization in Vocational guidance • Diploma in Vocational guidance granted by a State Vocational Guidance Bureau or a recognized Teachers Training College in the State Experience Required: Experience in the field of educational or vocational guidance work for a period of not less than five years of which at least three years should be in a supervisory capacity from any organization of Government/Quasi Government or from any institution recognized with or recognized by Government. The experience should be one gained or acquired after the academic qualification. In the case of Ex-Servicemen, in addition to the above qualification, experience in HRD or Military Recruitment for 10 years is essential. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.

Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3 (C) of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules) are not applicable to this selection. Appointment are made on the basis of the rank secured in the ranked list of candidates prepared in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated, 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and subject to the rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958.
