Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II/Driver (LDV) in Various Govt. owned Companies/Corporations/Boards/Authorities/Societies. Category No: 178/2016 & 179/2016. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste - 2 (Two) Cat No.178/2016, Muslim - 1 (One) Cat No.179/2016. Scale of Pay: Scale of pay as prescribed for the post by the concerned organization.. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Scheduled Caste, Muslim community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-08-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Scheduled Caste: 18 – 41 (Only candidates born between 01.01.1998 and 02.01.1975 both dates included are eligible). Muslim: 18 – 39 (Only candidates born between 01.01.1998 and 02.01.1977 both dates included are eligible). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Should be able to read and write any of the languages Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada. Candidates who have passed 8th, 9th or 10th class as the case may be, alone will be considered for appointment in those Organizations prescribing that qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Current Motor Driving License endorsed to Drive Light Duty Vehicles with Badge. • Should have completed three years after obtaining licence. Physical Standards: Normal visual standards as per Motor Vehicles Act and Rules and Medical fitness as prescribed standards. Medical Fitness: Ear: Hearing should be full and perfect. Eye: Right Eye (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen), Left Eye (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen), Colour Vision: Normal, Night Blindness: Nil, Field of Vision: Must have full field of vision. Muscles & Joints: No Paralysis and all joints with free movements. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.
