Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must posses Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles and applications with only one endorsement will be summarily rejected Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Eye - Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen, Colour vision: Normal, Near vision: 0.5 snellen, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within continuous period of three years.
