Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr. II (HDV) (Ex-Servicemen only) in NCC / Sainik Welfare Department. Category No: 512/2014. Vacancies: District Wise (Ernakulam - 2 (Two) - Scheduled Caste). Scale of Pay: Rs 9190-15780/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to above reservation communities only.). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-12-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-44. Scheduled Caste candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must posses Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement of driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy goods and heavy passenger vehicles Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Eye - Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen, Colour vision: Normal, Near vision: 0.5 snellen, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Rule 10 a (ii) applicable.

General conditions from the notification
The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated, 27/05/1971. Probation period: 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
