Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr. II (HDV) (Ex-Servicemen only) in NCC / Sainik Welfare. Category No: 208/2016. Vacancies: District wise (Kollam: SC-02, Kozhikkode: SC-01). Scale of Pay: 9190-15780/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-08-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Hearing should be perfect. Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. No paralysis, all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous system must be perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Selection on revenue district basis. Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen/Disembodied Territorial Army personnel. Candidates must be prepared to clean and oil the Motor Vehicles. Differently abled candidates are not eligible. Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
