Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver in Apex Societies of Co-operative Sector in Kerala. Category No: 44/2020. Vacancies: Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava – 01 (One). Scale of Pay: Rs. 8825 – 25075 (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 09-09-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Standard VII (New) OR Equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a Motor Driving Licence (LDV Licence) of at least three years standing and Driver's Badge (Driver's Badge exempted for driving Light Motor Vehicles from 12/10/2018) • Proficiency in driving Light Duty Vehicle (To be proved at a Practical Test) Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Hearing should be perfect. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision: Normal, Night Blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No Paralysis and all Joints with free movements. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Each eye must have full field of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II, KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalency must produce the Government order at the time of certificate verification.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a statewise basis. Probation period is one year on duty within a continuous period of two years as per Rule 184 of KCS. Physically handicapped persons are not eligible. Candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate and vision certificate when called for. Sub Paras v, viii, ix, x, xi, xii, xiii in Para 2 and Para 7 of General Conditions are not applicable.
