Educational Qualifications: • Pass in S.S.L.C. or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Group Certificate in Drawing (KGTE or MGTE) • Certificate in Drawing and Painting (Two year course) issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Diploma in Painting issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Group Diploma in Drawing (KGTE or MGTE) • National Diploma in Applied Arts issued by the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram • Bachelor of Fine Arts preparatory Examination of the University of Kerala • B.F.A Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala • B.F.A Degree in Applied Arts of the University of Kerala • B.F.A (condensed) Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala • B.F.A. (Sculpture) of the University of Kerala • Certificate course Examination in Commercial Art issued by the Government of Kerala • National Diploma in Fine Arts (5 year course) awarded by the commissioner for Government Examinations/ Director of Technical Education • Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Fine Arts • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable. Candidates claiming equivalence must produce Government Orders to prove the same at the time of verification. CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in respective subjects are exempted from K-TET.

Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile. 3% of fresh vacancies reserved for differently abled persons. Various age relaxations and preferences for wives of Jawans, Laboratory Attenders, First Class Scouts/Guides, and Government Primary/Nursery School teachers apply.
