Age limit

18-36 (Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual age relaxation to Other Backward Communities, SC/ST candidates and widows. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination or a pass in the educational Test of the Indian Navy. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Survey Recorder class II qualification of the Hydrographic Survey Branch of the Indian Navy or Diploma in Civil Engineering issued by the Government of Kerala or any recognized Board of Public Examination. Experience Required: Experience in reputed drawing office preferably connected with Chart Drawing. The experience shall be one gained after acquiring the basic Academic qualification. The experience shall not be insisted in the case of SC/ST candidates. The candidates so selected shall acquire the required experience after recruitment. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10a(ii) of part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Applications of candidates who have claimed qualifications equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette notification for the post will be considered equivalent only if they produce Government Order to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile if a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted.
