Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Low paid employees in the State Subordinate Service who apply under this category are exempted from the minimum General Educational qualification of pass in SSLC. Technical Qualifications: • Working knowledge in both Tamil and Malayalam languages. Experience Required: Candidates must be a full member or an approved probationer of the Kerala State Subordinate Services holding low paid posts in the scale of pay lower than Rs.26500-60700/-. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: As per Rule 2(13) of the KS & SSR 1958.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be a full member or an approved probationer of the Subordinate Services. Selection is based on a competitive test of SSLC standard with a minimum of 40% marks for regional languages (Tamil and Malayalam). Candidates must submit confirmation for the exam. Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS&SSR are not applicable. Candidates advised in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district for 5 years (with specific exceptions).
