Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada. Technical Qualifications: • Must know Swimming • Knowledge in simple boat handling Experience Required: Previous experience as Boat Keeper (Desirable) Physical Standards: Must possess good physique. Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable for selection to this post.

Candidates must acquaint themselves with the General Conditions given in Part II of the Gazette notification. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a test is conducted.
