Kerala PSC has invited applications for Assistant Professor in Surgical Oncology in Medical Education Service (Category No. 03/2021). Vacancies: 06 (Six); pay scale: As per UGC norms; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment. Apply online through Kerala PSC One Time Registration by 21-04-2021.

Age limit

22-45; Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories is applicable. In no case, the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • M.Ch/DNB in Surgical Oncology Technical Qualifications: • Registration with Travancore-Cochin Medical Council or Medical Council of India Experience Required: In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates with 2 years of special training in Surgical Oncology after MS/DNB in General Surgery/ENT/Orthopaedics or MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be considered. Additionally, 3 years of teaching experience as Resident in the department of Surgical Oncology in a recognized Medical College or 1 year of teaching experience after Post Graduation is required. Senior Resident experience is also considered. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must serve in the Defence Services or Defence related jobs in India or abroad for 4 years within the first 10 years of service (including training period). This is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age or those with physical disabilities. Candidates must provide confirmation for the exam via their profile.
