Age limit

20-39, Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.1999 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxations to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other backward communities. (Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2019). Officers of the technical Education, Public works, Public Health Engineering, Industries and Architecture and Town Planning Departments may also apply with age relaxation to the extent of their service. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification shall produce relevant Government order to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must read Part II of the General Conditions. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Persons appointed shall be liable to serve for a minimum period of four years in Defence Services.
